The Arsenals Directorate of the Argentine Army (EA) called for a public tender in order to acquire parts and components for the maintenance of the combat vehicles TAM (Medium Argentine Tank), Sk-105 Kürassier and M-113. The transaction, which is part of the annual contracting plan for this year, involves the acquisition of 17,000 spare parts worth 17,735,413 pesos (195,000 dollars, at the official exchange rate).
In total, there are 85 different types of spare parts for the different TAM models: SK, VC, VC SK 105, VC M113 and VCA. While, for wheeled vehicles, there are 115 requirements for Unimog 416, MB Army Ton 2.5, and MB 1518. The opening of the tenders will be on January 28, in the case of spare parts for the TAM, and the January 26, for those of wheeled vehicles
